2021 Kayak & Small Boat Trips
Overview: This year we have scheduled weekly drop in kayak opportunities and monthly kayak trips as well as Small Boat Cruises to local destinations Regarding kayak trips, we ask everyone to supply his/her own equipment (kayak, PFD, drinking water, etc). To accommodate as many members as possible, we will alternate the times of the weekly drop in paddles; Thursdays at 10:00 AM or 5:30 PM. Canoes, SUPs and bathtubs are welcome! Please observe social distancing and all proper COVID restrictions.

2021 Event Notes & Pics
We had a wonderful CCYC Big Boat cruise to The Docks at Downtown Hampton on May 14-15. S/V No Rush, S/V Eagle and S/V Washed By The Water participated and fun was had by all! Photos of: group at dinner at Pour Sisters in Hampton; and a view of the Eagle and Washed by the Water in the distance from No Rush on the way home to Cape Charles.

The Cape Charles Yacht Club's Road-Cleanup was Saturday, April 17th It was a gorgeous morning to be outside and a good time was had by all! The prize for "Best Find" goes to the guys for hauling back the pieces of a broken-up avocado green bathtub someone dumped by the retention pond on Cassatt Parkway!!!! Oh, and something else: three bras??? LOL!!! Thanks to all who helped out: Susan Carrigan, Beth & Davies Storrs, Bob Wells & Mark Henry.

Thank you so much for coming out today and braving the cool weather. At least it was sunny! We collected 16 bags of trash in our newly extended area for the road clean up! Those that helped out were: Charlie Dickinson, Belinda Winn, Mark Henry, Bob Williams, Susan Carrigan, Bob Smith, Paul Strong, Steve Bunce, Jim Liepman, and Rob and Patsy Harris. What a great team! We really appreciate your help, and look forward to doing it again in three months or so. Hopefully, the weather will be a little warmer then.
